“I’m in love! The customer service here is spot on! We called ahead to get on the wait list if there was one as it was a Friday night. We let them know 2 adults and 2 kids in high chairs. When we arrived they took us directly to our prepared table! Promptly, they brought the kids milk and some bread to tie them over till their meals arrived. Our waiter was very well versed with the menu and gave wonderful recommendations. Our food was to die for! My husband had the Lamb (Stinco D’ Agnello) it was tender, juicy and didn’t have that strong “gamey” flavor some lamb has when not prepared just right. I had the (Pollo Limone), Chicken with a subtle lemon flavor, along with some delish veggies. The food, the Wine, the Desert, the whole experience was just perfect. We will be going back again and again!” Christine G., San Diego CA

Finally we’ve found a really great restaurant in the South Bay area. This is reminiscent of the “trattorias” I enjoyed in Italy. They serve great food with a friendly atmosphere and attentive service. Definitely worth the trip!” JCPol, San Diego, CA.

“The menu is upscale Italian dining without being pricey and intimidating. The food is on the light side, starting with the bruschetta, and intensely flavorful throughout the selections of appetizers, salads, soups, pizza, pasta, main courses and desserts.
Diners need not dress up for the culinary elegance on display. “This is a place where you can wear jeans,” Zaino , owner, said with a welcoming smile.” Phillip Brents, The Stars News
